Winning the "Protection Problems" scenario in the 1st campaign does not unlock subsequent scenarios, so the bulk of the game cant be completed.

Along with other Civil War games from this supplier, they are not bad. Outcomes can depend on your deployment on forces. You can make mistakes that affect the events and casualties. Only in a few cases does the enemy (depending on who choose) seem to be have better speed of movement of units. But usually not enough to really matter. All in all I like it.

Enjoy this game very much. Easy to learn. Interesting to create strategies to win.

I enjoy this game. As the title says its simple yet addictive.

I quite enjoy this brand of games. The graphics are brilliant , the design is gorgeous, its a tight fun rightly priced item. I would only wish the AI was a bit more challenging. Its tactics, both defense and offense, are weak and predictable. Another level perhaps beyond "hard" - "harder"?

While I enjoy the game certain aspects relating to terrain modifiers I find to be unsatisfactory. For example in the Lexington scenario, the Union forces , even though they are behind fortifications and hold the high ground, do not seem to have any edge against troops , unprotected, and moving up hill. None of the defensive pluses that existed in reality seem to exist in these games.

Great game! You are responsible for coordinating multiple units and controlling the entire battlefield. Success is accomplished only by a tactical general. Think youre better than Lee, Jackson, Grant. Try the game on the "hard" level. Need to start small choose "Easy" then "medium." Im not a gamer but this game rocks! Great job guys!!

Do not get this game!! If ur gonna spend money on a game GET ULTIMATE GENERAL: GETTYSBURG that is the best war game ever!!!!!

Easy to play. Its hard to stop to play.

I got this weird tilt: the game would say the enemy was playing for a very long time, while my units had the prompt-to-play glowing blue hex. The enemy turn would never end, the game was frozen. I quit game, open again, it was still stuck. I clicked surrender, nothing happened. I uninstalled the game then installed it again, just to find that the "rebel yell" and the "victory road" Campaigns i had bought were locked again, asking for another 99 cent purchase each. I dont expect anybody to solve this, this is just a heads up: dont unistall the game if you bought additional campaigns.

There is something wrong with AI in many missions, the Opposites forces gets regularly enforcement, destroy huge number of my forces! While my forces can not even hurt the them!!!

Very enjoyable game. The dynamics of this game fits the era. Intense decision making and lots of action.

The game plays like a dream. Logical, smart, and very easy to marshal the troops. The AI doesnt work too badly either. My only complaint and why it gets 4 instead of 5 stars is that after Purchasing the game I find it comes with just 2 campaigns one is a tutorial and the other is a normal game. Then I can buy two more campaigns to continue... WT? I can see that if the game started as Free ... But come-on!

The tactical gameplay is awesome, the AI is clever, the multiplayer fun, and the campaigns are challenging. I enjoy the civil war theme, buy if you want to play as the Rebels you will have to fork over another .99 for the extra campaigns. In summery: awesome game, well worth the fee!

Solid turnbased strategy although very similar to their other games

I enjoy the game. The strategy is good and so is the AI however I was disappointed having paid for the app and only get one campaign with 8 missions...I would have expected more than that. Want another campaign going to have to pay again...very disappointing, this now seems to becoming the norm.

Enjoyable app. It only comes with two free campaigns, and one of those is a training campaign. So, it really only comes with one true campaign. The campaigns only have eight missions. The should be a few more free campaigns, and the campaigns should all have more than eight missions. As it stands, it is a bit pricey given the limited number of missions. As a result, only two stars. Had it come with a larger number of campaigns and missions it would have been a five star app!!
