Pros and cons of Civil War: 1863 app for iPhone and iPad
Civil War: 1863 app good for
Along with other Civil War games from this supplier, they are not bad. Outcomes can depend on your deployment on forces. You can make mistakes that affect the events and casualties. Only in a few cases does the enemy (depending on who choose) seem to be have better speed of movement of units. But usually not enough to really matter. All in all I like it.
Enjoy this game very much. Easy to learn. Interesting to create strategies to win.

I enjoy this game. As the title says its simple yet addictive.
I quite enjoy this brand of games. The graphics are brilliant , the design is gorgeous, its a tight fun rightly priced item. I would only wish the AI was a bit more challenging. Its tactics, both defense and offense, are weak and predictable. Another level perhaps beyond "hard" - "harder"?
Great game! You are responsible for coordinating multiple units and controlling the entire battlefield. Success is accomplished only by a tactical general. Think youre better than Lee, Jackson, Grant. Try the game on the "hard" level. Need to start small choose "Easy" then "medium." Im not a gamer but this game rocks! Great job guys!!
Some bad moments
Winning the "Protection Problems"
scenario in the 1st campaign does not unlock subsequent scenarios, so the bulk of the game cant be completed.
Do not get this game!! If ur gonna spend money on a game GET ULTIMATE GENERAL: GETTYSBURG that is the best war game ever!!!!!
There is something wrong with AI in many missions, the Opposites forces gets regularly enforcement, destroy huge number of my forces! While my forces can not even hurt the them!!!
I enjoy the game. The strategy is good and so is the AI however I was disappointed having paid for the app and only get one campaign with 8 missions...I would have expected more than that. Want another campaign going to have to pay again...very disappointing, this now seems to becoming the norm.
Enjoyable app. It only comes with two free campaigns, and one of those is a training campaign. So, it really only comes with one true campaign. The campaigns only have eight missions. The should be a few more free campaigns, and the campaigns should all have more than eight missions. As it stands, it is a bit pricey given the limited number of missions. As a result, only two stars. Had it come with a larger number of campaigns and missions it would have been a five star app!!
The game is nice, but it is too short. You have to pay more to unlock other campaigns. There is also a problem with the (awful) Game Center. It pops up even if you disable it.
